Delete your Ministry Angel account

You can delete your account and its data at any time — straight from the app, or by asking us by email if you no longer have the app.

Delete it in the app

1. 1Open Ministry Angel and sign in.
2. 2Go to the Profile tab and tap Settings.
3. 3Under Data & Privacy, tap Delete account.
4. 4Confirm twice. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Email support@ministryangel.org with the subject “Account deletion request”, from the email address you use to sign in so we can confirm the account is yours. We'll reply to confirm, delete the account exactly as the in-app option does, and let you know when it's done. You can also ask us to delete specific data without closing your account.

What is deleted

• Your profile — name, photo, bio, location, role and church organisation
• Your sign-in account — the login itself is deleted, not just the profile
• Campaigns you created, their updates, and the gift records attached to them
• Community posts, comments, testimonies, events, help-wanted posts and donation-item offers
• Direct messages
• Prayer requests, prayer-partner preferences and partnerships
• Streaks and Crown transactions (unused Crowns are forfeited)
• Merchandise orders, including the shipping name and address you gave us
• Volunteer applications and logged hours, event sign-ups, advertisements you created
• Notifications, badges, saved campaigns and the users you blocked
• Reports you filed
• Verification documents and proof-of-payment images — purged from storage

What is kept, and why

• Gifts you recorded to other ministries' campaigns — kept as part of that ministry's financial history, but no longer linked to you — the gift becomes anonymous and your proof-of-payment image is deleted.
• Moderation records — kept as an audit trail of decisions, also with your identity removed.
• Server logs — technical logs (which can include IP addresses) are kept for a limited period for security, then deleted.
• Card payments — if you ever paid by card, our payment processor (Stripe) keeps its own record of that payment under its own legal obligations.

Gifts themselves were paid directly to the receiving ministry, never to Ministry Angel, so any records the ministry keeps are held by them. The full detail is in section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
